Day Sixty Seven

Well, we have been working like little mad men... trying to get the siding done. We finished up the great room and all we have left to do is the underside of the where the kitchen cabinets will go and a little section of ceiling. We love the way everything is turning out, could not be happier!

I started working underneath the kitchen cabinets. We decided not to waist our money on nice siding under the sink. We decided to put up plywood under the countertop, since it’s not a visible area. And it’s saving a couple hundred $.

Because we were not doing T&G for the area, the system of putting up a few boards and stuffing the wool in wasn’t going to work for the plywood. So, I put up some bug netting to hold up the wool in place.

Once all of the wool is packed in, it’s time to put the plywood over top.

All covered up!

Day sixty nine-The other day, started working on the bathroom walls. After all the siding is done, I think I’ll be a pro, hehe.

Day seventy-This will be the end of the bathroom where the toilet will go. We included a little access point for the kitties to get into the cabinet where their litter box will be placed.

Put down some of the flooring to see how it looks in the bathroom. We chose to use Vinyl flooring here because of the high moisture, and didn’t want to worry about water getting under the floor.

We will have engineered bamboo in the living room and kitchen area. It’s a click method where the planks just snap into place.
